iTunes store opens in Canada
Posted by Sandy
The Canadian iTunes Music Store is finally open for business, at 99 cents (Canadian) per song.
Based on the opening day inventory, I suspect the ink is still wet on some of the legal agreements, but the store is open, and that's what counts. Let the download frenzy begin!
I made my first purchase: At Last by Etta James.

Better late than never (and only a day late.....). The price is a breakthrough and now I understand why Apple is strict abou credit card billing addresses. The Brits and Europeans must be applying for Canadian credit cards as we speak (Americans too - but the difference is smaller there). Canada - home of the cheapest legal downloads from the worlds dominant music store.
So I guess that's why George W. Bush was here this week.....
